TopGear is a top-rated History Channel program for exotic car enthusiasts. The concept was to promote the new show at two major upcoming car shows in LA and Las Vegas by giving free "taxi" rides to attendees. But these were no ordinary taxis. Featuring a Lamborghini, McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche, Rolls Royce and a Camaro Firebreather, people lined up around the corner for a chance to take a ride in one of these exotic bad boys.
From the initial concept renderings to the finished product, I helped facilitate several aspects of the design process. Below you'll find videos of the TopGear Taxis in action posted by SEMA Car Show attendees and several photos of the cars in varying degrees of finish, from conceptual renderings to finished photos taken on the Vegas Strip, Hollywood Boulevard and in Manhattan.

RESULTS:
—Series median age was 37, lowest of any program on the History Channel in 2010, helping propel History from outside the Top 10 cable networks in 2009 into the Top 5 in 2010.
—1.9MM viewers
—25MM+ media impressions through auto press/bloggers/mainstream media.
—Covered by major media outlets: The New York Times, The Today Show, Car and Driver Magazine, Motor Trend, and others.
I also designed the signage, graphics, and banner ads promoting TopGear's stage at the Detroit Auto Show, the world's premier automotive expo.
