To announce the premiere of the third season of Swamp People, History Channel built a living, breathing Louisiana swamp in NYC’s iconic Chelsea Market. The “Swamp in the City” event featured hundreds of native trees, plants, turtles, and alligators swimming in 8,000 gallons of water across 12,000 sq. ft. We partnered with the State of Louisiana and the Lt. Governor to enlist Cajun artisans, musicians, nature experts, and award-winning chef John Folse who, along with the stars of the show, created an authentic bayou experience for tens of thousands of visitors. I was responsible for all of the creative: out-of-home ads, teaser posters, the main window treatment, recipe cards, web banners and vast array of event signage. The whole experience was featured in more than a hundred local and national media outlets, generating more than 100MM impressions. Viewership for the Season 3 premiere increased by over 20% from the previous season.
